Photo Challenge – Changing Seasons

This post is in response to the Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

I was in Lima Peru end of November and into December 2011 and had been in South America since September. I took this photo from the room in my hostel and I think it captures the essence of changing seasons as the Christmas tree in the center of the rotary had just been put up, marking the end of fall and beginning of winter yet, you can see the lighting and flowers give it a summer feel. It took a little getting used to wearing sandals and dresses and going to the beach in December!
