Rendevouz in Waikiki!
In 2010, I spent about a week on Oahu with fellow members of a fraternal organization for our 75th reunion. Following are a couple galleries from the trip including scooting around the island on mopeds, hiking to Manoa Falls, stepping foot on the infamous pipeline beach, snorkeling with sea turtles and much more!

can’t get enough sunsets!
we took many “all-you-can-drink” catamaran rides

delicious tacos in Hawaii! I’ll take it!
One of our alumni is retired from Hololulu PD and got us a full tour of the department!
Hike to Manoa Falls, mopedding, & North Shore

scootin round the island! So much fun!

Scallop the turtle! I got to snorkel with some turtles. They are an endangered and protected species in Hawaii and this particular beach has volunteers who watch over the turtles 24 hours a day! There is a huge fine for even touching them!
drinking coconut water fresh from the source!
Beautiful fruit at a roadside fruitstand

the big guns – Each gun weighs 230,000 pounds, or about as much as a space shuttle.
Just hangin with some sailors!!
The spot where WWII ended!!
Wreckage of the USS Arizona. It’s eerie because 1,102 of the 1,177 Sailors and Marines eternally rest in these waters
